Today, we have TWO blocks for you: our weekly block and a bonus block!
I Want To Believe: An X-Files Quilt & Stitch Along is designed and presented by me, Jennifer Ofenstein (also find me onsewhooked.com).
There is a lot of useful information below this week's block, including the link to previous patterns, so be sure to keep scrolling!
And now... BLOCK THREE!
6” Finished (6 1/2” unfinished)
Hand Embroidered on background fabric
Hand Embroidered on background fabric
After last week's paper pieced block, we're back to hand stitching!
Enter Deep Throat. He plays an important part in the early seasons of The X-Files. Please note that this is a much smaller block than Mulder & Scully from Week 1.

Bonus Block - Mr. X
6” Finished (6 1/2” unfinished)
Hand Embroidered on grey or background fabric
Today includes Mr. X, the first of several bonus blocks.
The quilt layout (above) includes a number of solid spaces that can include additional blocks. I've done my best to include most major characters from the course of the series, so hopefully you'll find all your favorites along the way!

Jennifer's Tip: Connie B. from The X-Files Quilt & Stitch Along Facebook Group introduced us to the idea of embroidering on a sewing machine instead of hand stitching. If you have carpal tunnel or would like a faster method, try printing on Sulky Fabri-Solvy and then using your sewing machine to follow the lines. A heavier thread makes a nice line. If you're a confident free-motion quilter, try using fmq to create your design. I do recommend working with a practice piece first, just in case it isn't for you.
