X-Files Quilt & Stitch Along: I Want To Believe WEEK ONE

#xfilesquilt - I Want To Believe on fandominstitches.com

Welcome, welcome to the first event of 2016!

To celebrate the brand new season of The X-Files, we're kicking off the year with I Want To Believe: An X-Files Quilt & Stitch Along, designed and presented by me, Jennifer Ofenstein.

There is a lot of useful information below this week's block, including a printable document and an embroidery tip from me. Be sure to check it out!

And now... BLOCK ONE!

Block One - Mulder & Scully
13" (13 1/2" unfinished) embroidered

Well, of course week one is Mulder & Scully! They are the beginning and the end of the X-Files and everything I love about the show.

My block is backstitched, but you can use the stitch of your choice.

Enjoy!

Jennifer's Tip: Do you want to avoid tracing your pattern? I used Sulky Fabri-Solvy for my hand embroidered blocks in this project. Print on the "fabric" side, stick to your fabric, stitch as usual, and then dissolve with warm water! Here's a video to show you how it works:
