Game of Thrones

This week we will leave House Stark for a while and look at the Iron Throne.  The first pattern is the simplified version.

It is the Throne upon which the King of the Andals and the First Men sits.  It is located in the Great Hall of the Red Keep located in Kings Landing.

Aegon the Conqueror ordered it to be forged from the 1,000 swords surrendered to him.  The real number is around 200.  They were melted by Balerion his Dragon and shaped into a throne.
