Sam led him along several passages and down many steps and out into a high garden above the steep bank of the river. He found his friends sitting in a porch on the side of the house looking east. Shadows had fallen in the valley below, but there was still a light on the faces of the mountains far above. The air was warm. The sound of falling water was loud, and the evening was filled with faint scent of trees and flowers, as if summer still lingered in Elrond's gardens.

All these
patterns are paper pieced. A little lost? We have a full list of
tutorials and other helpful information about paper piecing on our Help! page.
Join us in sharing the adventure over on the Fandom In Stitches flickr group were everyone can share their versions of each block and get inspiration from others.
If you need help or just want to share the awesomeness you can also join our Facebook group

Aaand January is gone. Which means I'm already behind. But these are all so great, I certainly won't lack motivation - I was looking forward to Rivendell so much and this definitely exceeds all expectations!
ReplyDeleteMany heartfelt thanks to all the designers, this project has already become a fixed part of my calendar and I'm always looking forward to getting back to it^^

ReplyDeleteGreat designs! Must find time to do these!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Thank you for these blocks; I am enjoying making this quilt! Could you please check the design for the Elvish Tengwar “Nine”? I think the assembly directions omit piece “E”.
