A PSA - There's a rumor going round...

There's a rumor going around that fandominstitches.com will be going to a paid format. 

THIS IS NOT TRUE. 

We are a fandom website run by fans for fans. All of our quilt patterns are based on the intellectual property of the fandoms we love and we share them absolutely for FREE as fan art for you to include in your own quilts. 

In order to legally sell anything based on intellectual property one does not own, that IP has to be licensed. Have a peek at your Harry Potter or Star Wars or other fandom-themed licensed fabric and you'll see the licensing information listed on the selvage. The same goes for any toy, prop, video, etc. that is licensed and available for sale.

We DO NOT and WILL NOT sell unlicensed patterns both to keep our site fair use AND out of respect for the fandoms we love. 💜
