Quilt Your Own Adventure - Let's Get Started!

Welcome, welcome to Quilt Your Own Adventure with fandominstitches.com!

Quilt Your Own Adventure is an idea that's been floating around for some time and we're delighted to finally be sharing our first ever create your own quilt along!

So, how does this Quilt Your Own Adventure stuff work?

Here on Fandom in Stitches, we have hundreds of individual quilt block patterns created by fans, for fans.

We want our fellow fans to have the quilting experience they'd like to have.

Maybe you want a bookcase quilt but you're not a big Harry Potter fan...

Maybe you'd like to hand embroider a Doctor Who quilt, but you missed our previous quilt along...

Maybe you want to work on that Star Wars quilt that's been in the back of your mind...

Maybe you want to create a multi-fandom smorgasbord that represents all the things you love...

Whatever you want to make, THIS is the time to make it!

We'll all be having an adventure together, each of us making exactly what we want to make, one week at a time!

First up, let's plan our adventure!

We have ONE goal for the next week, and that is to fill out the Quilt Your Own Adventure Worksheet!

This fun role playing inspired document will help you plan out your fandom quilt using quilt designs and block patterns from Fandom in Stitches.

You'll be answering questions like What's your theme? Which quilt design will you use? How many blocks will you need?

Next, you'll make a list of all the block patterns you'd like to make then do some super simple math to figure out how many of these blocks you'll need to make per week to quilt along with us. We begin sewing next week!
