S.P.E.W.
tested by Jo Minvielle
I'm celebrating 20 years of Harry Potter all month long with a new free HP inspired pattern each Friday!
Many, many moons ago, I originally designed all of my stand-alone Harry Potter inspired blocks at 5" because they would fit on a single sheet of paper. I always thought S.P.E.W. was too small at 5", so it lingered in the "unfinished" folder. For many years now, my patterns have been much more than a single page (imagine!) and I decided it was time to dust this one off and make it a generous 10".
For those of you not in the know, S.P.E.W. is a society created by Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series. It stands for Stands for the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare. Read more on Pottermore.
No House Elves were harmed in the making of this website.
