Super Heroes

Aquaman

Aquaman is part of the DC comic universe.  He first appeared in 1941.  He is the King of Atlantis and ruler of the seas.  His abilities include super-strength, durability, super-speed, ability to stay underwater indefinitely and telepathy to communicate with sea creatures.  He can stay on land for extended periods and requires water regularly to avoid dehydration.  His wife's name is Mera.  He is a founding member of the Justice League of America.
