35" x 26 1/4" paper pieced

Today, we welcome Kristi back with another wonderful Harry Potter pattern, a portrait of Harry reaching for the Golden Snitch.

A note from Kristi:
This is a big pieced when finished.  It might seem overwhelming by looking but slow and steady makes it all worth it looking at the end result.   The pattern has a lot of pages to it but includes the pattern with no color (for the very detailed areas to see the sewing line better, the colored pattern pieces, the enlarged image for better viewing and the smaller image to see the pattern all on one page.   There is a copy of the small pattern image sectioned off for easier understanding of the directions.  Hope everyone enjoys sewing this one.

  1. This is an awesome pattern - just add borders for a baby quilt or pair it with the nimbus 2000 block above and below plus some borders and you have a great throw quilt. I'm not ready for something this difficult yet but it has been added to my crafty-fandom bucket list.

  2. I am in awe! Not just the size and complexity, but Kristi got real emotion to come through in a paper pieced quilt design. It's incredible.
