Tuesday Photos...and a Winner!!

Recently, we had a request from one of our community members to make a group project out of creating a quilt for a kiddo named Mikey. 

Mikey has cystic fibrosis and required a liver transplant. He was still on the list when our group started this project, but Mikey has a new liver and is now on the mend. Follow Mikey's Journey on Facebook. 

A huge thanks to the following volunteers for their efforts. Every block was made by a volunteer. The backing, binding fabric and batting were donated by members of our Facebook quilting community. There were monetary donations from several community members that helped defer our postage expenses. Even the long-arm quilting was donated!

Seriously, what a great group! Give all these ladies a huge round of applause:
