  1. This is just astonishing - funny I was looking a Dr Who inspiration earlier this week - but this surpasses anything I'd have done

  3. Oh, Soma, this is gorgeous. I'm completely clueless as to the intricacies of Dr. Who, but this design stands on its own as a beautiful piece.

    1. The original episode the angels were in, Blink, is amazing. Its one of the very best episodes they've made in the new Who. If you ever were to watch just one, it's probably the episode I'd suggest (although the Doctor is barely in it).

Anyway, you're right, this is a gorgeous piece. It's so intricate it's scary, but it really makes me want to try it someday.

    2. Thank you :-) I love stone angels sculptures, so I am really glad you liked it even without the Dr. Who connection.

  5. best episode ever. but honestly, this is pretty much the most spectacular thing i have ever seen. i'm not exaggerating. i am blown away by the precision, the beauty (look at her fingers!!), and the skill it takes to execute something like this.
