Spring Renewal, Hogwarts Style

Updated Hogwarts Crest 2012 Hogwarts Crest (detailed version)
Hogwarts Crest (Simple Version, Left) and Hogwarts Crest (Detailed Version, Right)
by Jennifer Ofenstein
5" paper pieced patterns

The Hogwarts Crest was one of my earliest Harry Potter designs. It's such an iconic part of the experience, I can't imagine a Harry Potter quilt without it!

These two patterns have excited together almost since the beginning. The simpler block, left, has less units and is easier to piece. The detailed version, right, has more pieces and has minor details that make it more like the canon version.

Today, they're presented here on Fandom In Stitches, all cleaned up, improved and renewed for spring!
