A Special Request from Thorin & Co.

Month 7: April 4, 2012

You are cordially invited to participate in a special project just for There and Back Again participants!

The four designers of TABABOM, Jennifer, Michelle, Lilja and Schenley, would be honored if you would consider sharing a signature block with each of us to help us commemorate your participation in There and Back Again.

Signature Block Pattern

In return for your participation, the TABABOM Designers will donate $1 for each block received (per designer) to the Red Cross in our respective countries.

If we each receive 20 blocks, then we each donate $20, a total of $80.

It's a win-win situation: we each get a memento from you, and we donate to an awesome charity on behalf of Fandom In Stitches and There and Back Again! We hope you will join us!

Example: Use fabrics from your TABABOM to create your 4 signature blocks.

Note: Your name and location can be embroidered (hand or machine), fabric marker, stenciled or printable fabric. Please avoid iron-on transfers.

Please mail your blocks no later than December 1, 2012. We will make our donations mid-December.  Mailing instructions are included in the pattern. All four blocks go to the same address and they will be distributed from there.

All we ask is that those sending blocks be an active participant of There and Back Again.

What we're shooting for!

The Project of Doom Signature Quilt
If you participated in The Project of Doom, then you will recognize the idea behind this special project. Above is the PoD Signature quilt (still in progress). Look for completed photos of this quilt coming very soon!
