It's Quite Elementary

Free Patterns by Jennifer Ofenstein

Sherlock Holmes patterns have been on my personal To Do list for years, and when it was first requested here on Fandom In Stitches, it created a perfect opportunity for me to draft patterns from one of my favorite fandoms!

I'm planning an entire series, though I can't promise dates for these patterns. They'll come when they come, and I hope you enjoy them as they do!

As an added bonus, I included the thumbprint sketch I used in my version of the Magnifying Glass. It's one of those simple blocks that has so many opportunities, depending on your fabric choice and embellishment ideas!

These patterns also usher in a whole new pattern page for Fandom In Stitches: Classic Fiction!  We hope that it will soon be filled with some of your favorite classic fandoms!

Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes books and stories are out of copyright, which means you can find these fantastic stories all over the internet. For free! Read the stories with original artwork, alternative covers and more here:

Have you made cool fandom stuff from our patterns? Post photos in our Flickr Group and you might see them here on Fandom In Stitches!

  2. Thanks! The blocks make up really quick...it took me longer to choose fabrics than to piece them!
