Google's solution is to empty your cache, but I can't ask you all to do that every time you visit. It's a pain in the rear-end.
This week, I will start the long, arduous process of moving all of our files to another service and re-linking every individual file so that each file is accessible the very first time you click on it.
Oh, joy.
In the meantime, please be patient with Fandom In Stitches, because this process is going to be a lot of work and is not unlike having to start from scratch. It will be worth it, as far as I'm concerned, if all visitors can easily access each and every pattern on this site without any errors.
If you desperately need a pattern and you cannot access it, please email with the title of the pattern and I will get it to you asap.
Now, start seriously counting down to There and Back Again. The designer that is up first has her pattern almost ready to go, and I can tell you right now, it is completely awesome!
UPDATE: Patterns on the move!
Have you made cool fandom stuff from FiS patterns? Post photos in our Flickr Group and you might see them here on Fandom In Stitches!
Thank you for all the work you have ahead of you. I'm so happy to know that the problem isn't just something in my mind. Got 2 stars in the works, but have company for a couple of days- so no sewing.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
It's been such a struggle to try to figure this problem out. I'd much rather everyone be able to access the files on the first time than to be frustrated and maybe never come back to visit!
ReplyDeleteThanks for making Stars for Linus. :)
sounds like a lot of work - thanks for your work on this. It is very much appreciated
ReplyDeleteWith my current workload, it's going to take a long time, but I think it will be worth it to have all the patterns dependably downloadable.
